Glass Door Profile and Fire Rating Options

SG20 glass doors are constructed with steel profile systems, which are designed to fulfil differing performance requirements. Within each system, a variety of profile sections and finishes are available. Most systems are available in several finishes including: mirror polished and brushed stainless steel, or polyester powder coated bright or galvanised steel to any BS or RAL colour. SG20 glass door profile systems are carefully chosen by us according to the expected usage requirements of the doorset. For example, a glass doorset required to have an EI90 fire rating would probably be constructed with the Fuego Light system, while a double action door in a busy corridor would be constructed using Norm profiles. If a standard system will not meet a particular requirement, we can manufacture custom profiles. |
